95 percent of environmental impact and energy comsumpion of lighting comes about during its use. We designed a workstation lamp, which encourages people to turn off the lamp when they leave the desk. Change lamp is designed to endure time due to its pure design language as well as its structure. Coin deposit operates as a light switch. By putting a coin into the slot the user puts the light on. When the coin is removed the light is off. If the user forgets the light on, some friendly person picks up the coin in his or her pocket and turns the light off.

Benchmarked is a recycling service concept of furniture for public space. Benchmarked's augmented reality platform enables interactive information and services. It enhances user's understanding of the meaningfulness of the product and enables owner to provide services ie. guiding, info, entertainment.
Benchmarked sees worn-out as an opportunity and makes re-used seats desirable by highlighting the stories behind the products life span. Benchmarked seats have the key moments of the life cycle stored to the system and those function as links to existing interesting sources of information (youtube, wikipedia, google maps, etc.). Point your mobile phone to Benchmarked seats and the software takes you to augmented reality.
Benchmarked provides seat recycling services for commercial purposes and public spaces. Benchmarked web service enables customers to find effortlessly large quantities for their furnishing projects. Benchmarked re-uses the whole product, minimizing the environmental impacts during life cycle. Certification system guarantees the enhancing value for the product.
Benchmarked concept got a second prize in Habitare 2010 design competition. Theme of the competition was to design a seat of recycled material for public space - instead of recycling material we enabled easy reuse of existing products! -
